Fire Safety Knowledge Training
To strengthen the safety measures for production and implement the concept of “fire prevention for all, with life as the top priority,” the Safety Management Department of Huahong Technology took advantage of National Fire Prevention Month to conduct specialized training on fire and electricity safety. This training covered all workshop employees, aiming to enhance their safety awareness and equip them with practical skills, thereby ensuring the safe operation of the enterprise.
Fire Safety for All, Life First

At the beginning of the training, real accident cases were reviewed to vividly demonstrate the severe consequences of fires caused by improper use of fire and electricity. This helped employees fully understand the hidden nature and dangers of safety hazards. During the session on safe use of fire and electricity, Pan Zhengqing, the head of the Safety Management Department, explained key regulations regarding electrical equipment usage, wiring maintenance, and storage requirements for flammable and explosive materials. He also reminded employees to avoid dangerous practices such as unauthorized wiring connections and overloading circuits.
Regarding fire emergency response, the training focused on explaining the principle of “reporting the fire and extinguishing it simultaneously”. Employees must remember the key elements of reporting a fire to 119, including clearly providing information about the location of the fire, the materials involved, and the intensity of the flames. During the hands-on practice session, participants learned the four steps for using a fire extinguisher: lifting, pulling, gripping, and pressing. They also practiced connecting fire hoses to faucets, so they can respond quickly and effectively during the early stages of a fire.
In addition, the training covers fire-fighting basics and skills for escaping from fires in a systematic manner. Key points such as not opening windows rashly in case of indoor fires (to prevent air from rushing in and intensifying the flames) and avoiding running if one’s clothes catch fire (to prevent the fire from spreading and embers from dispersing) are emphasized. Practical methods are also taught, including using towels to filter smoke (folded eight layers of a wet towel can reduce smoke inhalation by 60%), crawling along the ground where the air is cleaner and less polluted with smoke, and creating makeshift ropes using curtains or bed sheets for descending safely. For high-rise office environments, it’s particularly important to use the fire-resistant and smoke-proof evacuation stairs to escape downward, avoiding upward movement or entering dead-end corridors with only one exit. This helps to comprehensively improve overall ability to handle fires.
This training focuses on theoretical explanations, thoroughly analyzing safety risks related to the use of fire and electricity, as well as emergency response measures. It aims to effectively prevent and mitigate various fire-related hazards in corporate operations, thereby fostering a safety management culture where “the company takes the lead, all employees participate, everyone understands fire safety, and everyone is prepared for emergencies”. This approach ensures the protection of corporate assets, employee safety, and the stability of overall business operations.
